Here at Benildus Pastoral Centre, we cater for a substantial amount of school groups, however our doors are very much open to all ages and walks of life. Throughout the year, we host adult retreat and reflection days for local communities and colleges, in addition to facilitating groups of adults within specialised professions such as Teaching, Chaplaincy, Nursing and Care Work.

On-Site Retreat Days

Our popular on-site reflection days are held amid our beautifully kept grounds and incorporate meditation, creative work, group-work, reflection and prayer. Every reflection day is an opportunity for groups to retreat from a busy world and into a space that is kept still and sacred. In addition to our natural surrounds, facilities include ample parking for peace of mind, 1 large group room, 2 smaller group rooms, a beautiful Oratory space and a Coffee Dock, where we provide tea / coffee and light refreshments for all visiting groups. Fee of €10 per person / or donation.

Glendalough Pilgrimage Retreat Days

For a Celtic experience, we also offer a one day pilgrimage journey through the Valley of Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Meet us there  at the Visitor Centre, where we will accompany you and your group through various routes around the valley. The routes we take cater for easy to medium gradient walkers, with the central focus being on the spiritual and historical significance of the valley.

NEW to June 2015

For the month of June, we are hosting adult meditation and mindfulness half-days here at our Centre. If you or your group are interested in breaking away from your busy life for just one morning between 10am – 12.30pm, please call us and we will be delighted to facilitate you and help you with your booking. The fee for our adult meditation and mindfulness half-day is €10 / or donation. Tea and Coffee is included for all.
